6 - WRF 2 6 - WRF 1 I'm in Wilmington, DE, for the wedding of my nephew, Bruce. My daughter Erin and I brought the grandkids here yesterday, and this morning we went to the Delaware Children's Museum. What a great museum it is! There are wonderful, interactive activities like climbing mazes, a race track, water activities, construction sites, etc. Kids could easily spend all day there.
6 - WRF 3 6 - WRF 4 While Erin gave the kids a snack, I did a walk on the portion of Riverwalk that is located next to the museum. It's lined with information panels about the history of Wilmington, observation areas, large office buildings, apartment complexes, and a restaurants. There were more restaurants closer to downtown, but I began my walk at a fairly remote end of the park. There were a few joggers and walkers out. It was a very quiet late Sunday morning.
Along the portion of walk that I completed there were elaborate birdhouses depicting famous buildings/homes from Wilmington history.
6 - WRF 5 After I returned to the museum, we played mini-golf and then headed back to the hotel. It's time for a wedding!
