My Photo Walk: Annual Historic Houses of Worship Tour(Click any photo to enlarge; hover mouse over photo for caption.) The historic houses of worship in downtown Frederick are open annually for touring the first Monday after Christmas. Each year the tour seems to draw more and more people, making it difficult to find parking, to get into and out of the churches, and certainly to take photos inside of them. But of course, the tour is not for photographers, but for everyone. This year, I decided to make it primarily a walk downtown, photographing spires from parking deck roofs and interesting things in windows and along the way. I did go inside of St. John's, where I did a swipe with my camera to create the white lines on the lighted tree. It was a good evening downtown with lots of people, and the tour was yet another of the great reasons to visit downtown Frederick.
